Dear Members,
In efforts to capitalize on the advantages we have over the competition when it comes to navigating the current widespread appliance product shortages, we have created a campaign you may choose to implement on your web site, social channels, via email and in store. The key message is simple:
Many products are in short supply due to COVID-19. But we are member-owners of huge regional appliance warehouse, right here in New England. Therefore, we can often get the appliances you need quickly and deliver them faster than our competition. If products are out of stock, our knowledgeable team will recommend the best plan for you!
The Campaign includes the following assets & elements:
1) VIDEO
View the videos Here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7i545ganl47n3hz/AACVQMtTKP22zxiDESrB9YJwa?dl=0
Order your dealer-tagged video here (edit done by AVB Marketing, cost $200): https://avbmarketing.formstack.com/forms/neaeg_product_shortage_video_sign_up
VIDEO OPTIONS INCLUDE:
Dealer taggable Video commercial (:30) – choose from two versions: “Expert Installation and professional repair” or “Expert delivery and Installation”
Social Media video (generic; not dealer taggable) – choose from two versions: “Expert Installation and professional repair” or “Expert delivery and Installation” – NOTE: these are already built in to the social campaign below.
2) EMAIL BLAST
A special Product Shortage email template is Now Available in Constant Contact. There are two versions – one includes people shopping with masks. The other has the people without masks. We recommend using the version WITH masks, but it is up to you/your area’s specific pandemic policies. Also attached are the customization instructions.
It is VERY important that you take the time to customize the email blast with your logo, address and links, following these simple instructions. If you are not using email marketing and want to get started, please let me know! Constant Contact accounts are available at no cost for all members.
3) POSTER
A helpful “Product Shortage - How we can help” Poster is attached below. There are two versions – one includes people shopping with masks. The other has the people without masks. We recommend using the version WITH masks, but it is up to you/your area’s specific pandemic policies. You can send this to any local printer/Staples/FedEx location to be printed full size and put on display inside your store. I would encourage all members to take advantage of this helpful signage so browsing customers begin to understand the advantages you can provide over large chains.
4) SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS
A New Product Shortage social media campaign is now available in Promoboxx for you to share. This includes the awesome generic video referenced above! You may want to consider boosting these video posts in order to extend your reach to new prospects in your area … You can easily run local ads through Promoboxx for as little as $5! Please reach out if you need help: support@promoboxx.com
NOTE: we will be having a Webinar on August 6th at 10am regarding boosting your social media posts. Tune in!
5) LANDING PAGE
RWS has created a custom Landing Page for this campaign using all the assets and messaging we have discussed above. As with the COVID-19 Landing Pages they implemented, this LP will include a homepage banner for people to quickly find this information when they arrive at your online storefront. You can & should use this Landing Page as the place where all social, video, emails and any other Product Shortage materials you implement can CLICK THRU to.
In order to set up your Product Shortage landing page, please contact your RWS Web Fronts representative, or look for a special communication from RWS later today with instructions.
If you have an AVB Marketing web site or another independent provider, please contact them to get help establishing a Landing Page. AVBM has been provided with all the same materials and the videos to create a similar Landing Page experience at your request.
A very special THANK YOU to your fellow retailer, Jeff Allaire (Bellingham Electric), who originally conceived of this concept and allowed the group to use his ideas for the benefit of ALL members!
If you have any questions regarding this campaign, please reach out to me or Kara Morgan for assistance. Thank you & Good Luck!
